DC Adventures Log 1 0
Day 3
I will be staying in Washington DC for a little over a month and I thought I would document my adventures on my days off from work.

I had lunch at a little bistro called Circa at Dupont where I had the best caprese salad of my life. It is located within the Dupont Circle area. One thing I’ve noticed about DC, since becoming a Vegetarian, is I’ve been having difficulty finding veggie friendly things to eat. All I’ve been able to find so far are pizza, cheese, and Famous Amos cookies.
It’s been about eight years since I first came to Washington DC and I have forgotten how beautiful and historic all of the buildings are.

After lunch I walked down the street to the Phillips Collection Museum for the Georgia O’Keeffe: Abstraction exhibition. This isn’t exactly abstract, but it is my favorite piece from the entire exhibition. Georgia O’Keeffe: A Portrait.

Engadget describes it as “a giant, automated machine with internal rollers, and its entire purpose is to do nothing but make pancakes (roughly 200 per hour). Using pre-filled bags of batter, this dude does all the work. This device, which seems to be targeted at restaurants, will run you about $3,500 if you really want to get your hands on one.” Yikes, who knew pancakes could be so expensive. Hooray for gluttony!!
